Are you depressed?
Or Unhappy about your life?

These are NOT the same thing, yet many medical professionals would have you believe that depression is nothing more than a chemical imbalance and that with a simple pill, you can feel yourself again.

Actually, this is exactly what I’ve heard a physician say when he recommended depression pills: “You will feel yourself again”. Why do you think so many people are depressed and become more depressed even after they take depression pills?

While it really is not my place to question the expertise of these licensed professionals, I do want to put it to you that in many cases depression is not a disease but a reaction to your life’s circumstances.
In fact, depression seems to be a symptom, rather - than the problem itself

Yes, I GOING to say it. From MY non-medical view - as a Master Path Within Practitioner, I see depression as a healthy part of of our brain’s function and I think, in fact, that suppression of this healing response, chemically, can be more damaging than the situation that lead to the depression in the first place.

I have worked with people who had been on depression pills for 15 years and STILL FELT DEPRESSED! After doing a few of my exercises, they immediately started to feel better about themselves, their outlook, their life.

Finally they had found some of the answers they were looking for! NOT from a pill, but from within their own, Personal Lives! They truly started to engage themselves in life again.

Almost as soon as I started to study the symptoms of depression, something struck me as odd... "Everyone is capable of getting depressed!" So surely, not EVERYONE is sick?

Then I discovered the next major breakthrough... Depression often has the same triggers and symptoms... and then the most amazing thing happened.

Once I changed my perception of Depression to be a HEALING response of our Mind – Just like a Fever is a healing response to catching the Flu – THEN I was able to help people find ways to resolve some of the issues which were causing their depression...

Slowing down the healing response, chemically, has never been proven to address the actual root causes of the symptoms. I am certainly not suggesting you throw away your prescription right away.... I’m suggesting to take a new look at the cause of your symptoms, and to learn some LIFE AFFIRMING SKILLs and learn NEW ways to find and transform the root causes, Heal your life and discover your Personal Power and Life’s Path. Understanding and learning the lessons of your life, makes you stronger; adding the right motivation, drives you to live a more authentic life.

Depression is said to be a mental disorder that is created when there is a chemical imbalance in our minds. Depression is not meant to be any disease but a condition which is caused by an imbalance of chemicals and one can be oneself all over again, after some medicines, for a certain period.

Depressed should go in for therapies which would keep them engaged and happy. Depressed can go for yoga exercises, as it would provide the depressed with dual benefits - one is keeping oneself fit and secondly creating body salts which would keep you healthier in your mind and body.

Depression is said that to be removed, once pills are taken for a certain period of time, and you spring back to normal. But it is seen that even after years - the symptoms remain and the pills really have not helped. What if we see this depression in another way? Depression is the reaction that takes place to your life’s circumstances. Depression is a symptom and not a problem by itself.

Depressed can actually start looking for a path within himself, rather than depend on pills to take care of the depression. Seeking path within and healing oneself from within in the mind is a vital activity that one must initiate immediately. If you suppress this healing power, you would do more damage to the brain than the circumstance itself.

The depressed can start meditating, doing some exercises to make themselves a better, improve their outlook towards life and make them see life in a different perspective, a more positive one.

Instead of terming depression as a negative symptom, one can term it as the healing response of the mind to the circumstances. Just as you get fever, you get depressed. One needs to list down the issues and then try to resolve them one by one, to the extent possible.

Overcoming depression is to have some life affirming skills and to learn new methods to find and change the root causes. The depressed needs to heal his life and he should learn to discover his own power from within. This way he would reinvent the life’s path too. The depressed needs to overcome all these circumstances and the understand them. The depressed should learn lessons from them. This would make the depressed stronger, more motivated to face further challenges, and would drive themselves to lead a better and authentic life.

Depression always causes unrest of the mind, but with exercises and rediscovering yourself, you could put it to rest thus brining in well being of mind and body. Depression is a natural reaction and shows the activeness of the brain, but needs to be addressed so that it does not spread its roots.

Will it not be wonderful, when you could live on your own, on your own terms as well. Once the depressed comes out of depression, his life would be full of joy and happiness. The depression thus is not a disease to run away from, but to help oneself to come out of it, and make yourself a better human being in all respects.
